We could have been born as anything—a dog, a cat, an elephant, a bird, a tree, or even a blade of grass. Life has evolved through countless forms, each with its own purpose and potential.
In my observation over the last 51 years, I have found something profound: every species seems to live within the natural boundaries of its identity. A tree cannot become an elephant. A bird cannot become a human being. A fish cannot decide to become something else. Each species has a defined potential within which it lives.
But the human being is different.
A human being has an extraordinary and almost limitless potential. We can rise towards wisdom, compassion, truth and even become Godlike in our consciousness—or we can descend into hatred, greed and crime.
We have a choice.
We are free, yet most of us live imprisoned within self-created boundaries—our beliefs, conditioning, fears, habits and limitations.
A newborn child enters this world with innocence, consciousness, love and truth. But as the years pass, our parents, surroundings, education, society, peers and environment gradually shape the way we think and live.
By the time we reach adulthood, much of our behaviour and perception has already been conditioned.
Then comes the most important question:
Is this truly the life I am meant to live?
That question can become the beginning of transformation.
Self-inquiry can open a completely different path—a path towards discovering our immense human potential.
